Dr. Lesley Shaffer was raised in Granville, Ohio, where a deep appreciation and love for nature and animals were instilled in her by her parents. Her greatest interests included horseback riding and all other nature-related activities.
She began her study of pre-veterinary medicine at the Ohio State University in 1988. In 1997, she graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Shaffer began practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Zanesville, OH. In 1998, she moved to Dayton to work as an associate veterinarian at Paws Inn Animal Hospital. Dr. Shaffer has greatly enjoyed working with the people of Dayton to provide quality health care for their pets. She lives with the best dog in the world, Pete; and a pretty nice fish, Ben.
